And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to this disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:35-38

You know where I’m going with this, don’t you? I truly believe that within the body of Christ God never causes a need that he doesn’t also bring about a solution. There are needs within the body of Christ. That means there are also human instruments to fulfill those needs.

There is not an area of this church that does not need some assistance. Bro. Jeff would be glad to have more help with Children’s Church. Bro. Jonathan and Ms. Faith would love to use you to minister to the youth. We currently have nothing for children on Wednesday nights. We could use a deacon, trustee, Sunday School teachers, and a decorating committee member. We need greeters, nursery volunteers, kitchen committee members, and technology committee members. We could even use a few people who are passionate about both reaching the lost and ministering to those inside the body for our Visitation Program.

God has equipped us all to serve. None of us are perfect, but we serve a God who is perfect. Have you prayed about how you could serve the body of Christ? Maybe you’re physically unable. If that’s the case, there’s a very special task just for you. Pray. Pray specifically that the Lord would send laborers
